Started 9/20, Process, "Decomposing"
This piece is inspired by one of my previous artworks. I wanted to use the same high-detail, elaborate style with ink and watercolor. I used a 0.1 micron pen along with watercolor paint. The painting itself is of an owl that is partially dead. I let my creativity flow during the brainstorming and allowed the weird thoughts to mix and mingle. The right side of the owl is vibrant and alive along with the frame’s detail while the left side is dead and poisonous in nature. This was a piece I could just let whatever I was thinking flow out onto the page which I really enjoyed.
